Join our team as a Research Associate (m/f/d) in the field of computer science on a full-time basis (39.2 hours per week), limited to June 30th 2028.
What you can expect from us: * remuneration based on the federal collective bargaining agreement (TV-L), pay group 13 (from EUR 4,760 per month full-time), annual bonus, company pension scheme * support for personal further qualification as part of a doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in cooperation with the University of Bremen * family-friendly, flexible working time models, part-time option, remote work, additional days off on December 24 and 31 * corporate health management and sports activities through egym wellpass * interdisciplinary and international environment
We need your expertise for: * working on the research project ‘Platform Material-Digital’ to develop a groundbreaking platform that enables semantic process chain modeling used to track material properties to detect e. g. quality issues * building seamless data workflows using workflow management systems * development and application of open platform communication architectures based on protocols * integration and mapping of application ontologies for single processes along the workflow chain * connection / aligning of these ontologies to form digital shadows * engaged participation on domain-related national and international working groups
What we expect from you: * completed master's or diploma degree in computer science or Dual Study as IT spezialist "Fachinformatikerin / Fachinformatiker" * extensive knowledge in Python and JSON * practical experience with Broker Systems (e.g. NodeRed, Kafka, MQTT, RabbitMQ) * practical experience with System Integration using Single Bord Computers (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino) * first experiences in Workflow Management Systems, in particular Apache Airflow * knowledge of Protocol Integration using JSON-Schema, CBOR or ProtBuff * knowledge about IoT Technologies (e.g. S5/S7 protocols, CoAP) * knowledge about Data Transformation using Jupyter notebooks or YARRRML
