Your profile

A very good M.Sc. degree in computer science, Solid background in one or more of the following areas: privacy and security, multi-agent coordination, machine learning, LLMs/VLMs, distributed systems, human–AI collaboration, and interactive system design, Strong programming skills, ideally with experience in multi-agent frameworks, distributed systems, or AI simulation platforms, Experience in designing and conducting simulations and experiments, ideally including empirical evaluation of agent behaviors and system performance, Ability to conduct independent scientific research, along with strong commitment, team orientation, and communication skills, A very good command of both English and German, both written and spoken, Strong interest in pursuing a doctoral degree and contributing to high-impact research.

Your main responsibilities

Conduct independent research on privacy in multi-agent systems, focusing, for example, on identifying emerging privacy threats, designing novel privacy-preserving mechanisms for agent communication and collaboration, and developing human-centered approaches to ensure trustworthy multi-agent interactions, Publishing and presenting the obtained scientific results in international peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals, Supervising student projects in this area.
