System Test Engineer (m/f/d) Electric Drives

Your tasks:

Commissioning and validating mechatronic components, subsystems, and complete systems
Deriving test requirements and creating detailed test specifications in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders
Maintaining and documenting requirements, test cases, and results within the requirements engineering tool landscape
Planning, executing, and validating tests in accordance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on system integration, low-voltage, and safety testing
Developing and implementing automated test routines to improve efficiency, repeatability, and test coverage
Analysing, interpreting, and documenting test results; identifying deviations; and driving corrective actions
Presenting test findings and project status updates to customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders

Your profile:

Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline
Proven experience in the testing and validation of mechatronic systems and components
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and standards, particularly LV123/LV124 and other relevant high-voltage standards; experience in system integration testing is an advantage
Strong understanding of electric drive systems, electrified powertrains, and associated components
Hands-on experience with test bench automation and control systems, such as dSPACE, ControlDesk, and AutomationDesk
Strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Independent, structured, and solution-orientated working style with a high level of technical responsibility
Ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
Fluent in English; German is nice to have
