Stellenbeschreibung

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAt Blackwave GmbH, we develop and scale next-generation composite technologies. As a Production Engineer, you operate at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and scaling — turning innovation into reliable, repeatable production processes. • Develop, optimize, and industrialize manufacturing processes for high-performance composite components • Transfer prototypes into stable pre-series and series production • Define, analyze, and document process parameters • Collaborate closely with R&D, quality, and production teams • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement • Support the build-up of scalable production structures • Create work instructions, standards, and best practices

YOUR PROFILE • A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with composite materials or advanced manufacturing processes (this may include substantial practical experience through Formula Student, rocketry teams, or comparable technical projects) • Experience in manufacturing, process development, or industrialization • An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style • A strong hands-on mindset: you don’t just design processes — you actively implement and improve them • A high level of quality awareness and sense of responsibility • Motivation to build and shape things on site in a dynamic environment, rather than simply managing from a distance • English proficiency at B2 level or higher; German skills are a plus — if little or no German is available, English proficiency at C level is required

WHAT WE OFFER • Personal responsibility & creative freedom: You actively contribute to the further development of our production technologies. • Flexible working hours: Work-life balance is not an empty promise with us. • Start-up spirit meets aerospace: flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and room for innovation. • Individual benefits: Choose between the Deutschland Ticket, Egym-Wellpass or a tax-free benefit with the Give Card (50€ net each month). • Fresh food every day: Shared lunch break with healthy, varied dishes. • Alpine view included: Our roof terrace invites you to relax after work. • Further development guaranteed: You will grow both professionally and personally through exciting projects and exchanges with experts. • We live and breathe team culture: whether it's a tech talk, team event or after-work
  • we celebrate successes together.
