Description
* Lead the integration of passenger seating systems into commercial aircraft platforms, ensuring compatibility with aircraft structures, systems, monuments, and cabin interfaces. * Define and manage design requirements, validation activities, and verification strategies to achieve compliance with certification and performance requirements. * Review and approve complex technical data, including installation concepts, seat envelopes, substantiation approaches, and integration constraints. * Act as the primary technical focal point for seat integration activities across multidisciplinary teams and external partners. * Resolve complex engineering and certification challenges while supporting program schedules and delivery milestones. * Assess technical feasibility, risks, and implementation strategies for both new aircraft production and cabin modification programs. * Contribute to the development of engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline * Strong understanding of aircraft design, integration, and certification principles * 5+ years of aerospace industry experience in aircraft design, systems integration, cabin interiors, certification, or related engineering disciplines * Technical Skills: CATIA V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, AutoCAD
Proven experience with aircraft interior design and modification programs, particularly seating and payload installations.
Good knowledge of applicable airworthiness regulations including:
* EASA CS-25 * FAR Part 25 * ETSO / TSO requirements
