Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
* Cross-Functional Insight: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the various departments operating within the Automotive Smart Power segment * Domain Expertise: Build specialized knowledge in automotive applications, with a particular focus on automotive power distribution systems * Product Knowledge: Learn about Infineon's product portfolio for automotive power distribution applications and identify their key use cases * Practical Evaluation: Gain hands-on experience with Smart Power devices in the electronics laboratory by performing evaluations on both physical test benches and virtual prototypes within our simulation environment
Joining the Junior Talent Program will give you the big picture of Infineon: Our Junior Talents are prepared for taking on complex target functions by means of tailor-made job rotations, regular feedback loops, trainings, as well as joint networking. Over the course of 24 months, you have at least three different assignments. By working in different departments, you can get an idea of what suits you best. From the beginning, you'll have a chance to roll up your sleeves and take on challenging tasks. Besides that, you have the opportunity to build strong relationships across sites, functions and departments, and to meet the JTP community face to face and at virtual conferences.
This position is temporary: the duration of the Junior Talent Program is 24 months, including 3-4 job rotations.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Education: Master/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar * Interests: Semiconductors, Automotive, Simulation, Lab Measurements * Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge in electronics and knowledge in MATLAB environment as plus * Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment * Language Skills: Fluency in English and German as a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F-G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-wages-blue-collar-workers-2025.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
