working on You design, develop, and operate high-performance data
pipelines that move core platform data into client-facing reporting
and analytics systems You assess how data should be stored and
modeled, selecting the most suitable technologies depending on
performance, scalability, and use case needs You lead the
transformation of existing data workflows into a more modern and
scalable architecture, ensuring a safe and structured migration path
You collaborate closely with backend and analytics teams to define
efficient data structures and build robust, scalable information
models You improve operational reliability by introducing monitoring,
automation, and best practices that keep data systems stable and
maintainable You make architectural decisions, evaluate technical
trade-offs, and help define engineering standards to ensure long-term
platform quality and consistency What you bring to the table You bring
5+ years of experience in data platform engineering & you have strong
Python skills and develop scalable data processing solutions,
including custom ingestion, validation, and automation frameworks You
build and manage event-driven batch workflows, designing reliable
orchestration, dependency management, and scheduling for complex data
pipelines You have deep knowledge of modern database technologies and
know how to select and optimize the right storage solution for
different performance and scalability requirements You implement
robust monitoring and observability practices, leveraging logging,
metrics, and alerting tools such as Datadog to ensure reliable data
platform operations Nice to have: You have experience with modern data
orchestration and transformation tools (e.g. Dagster or dbt), bring
domain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, or ad-tech, and are comfortable
working with PHP/Laravel-based environments You combine a pragmatic,
solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, take
ownership of initiatives, and collaborate effectively across teams to
deliver reliable and scalable data solutions What matters to our
